Colorado 14'ers
Mt. Princeton - 14,197 & Chasm Lake - ~11,600
In good conditions I've seen two-wheel drive vehicles up to just past the radio
towers. Past that the road to the shelter is much more rugged and airy.
Wife Amy, just before she called it quits at ~12,300. This is her personal
best. Views from the top afforded spectacular vistas of the Arkansas River
Valley and the valley up towards St. Elmo.
The day after Princeton, we took the Xterra up over Tincup Pass and the day
after that we hiked into Chasm Lake. The views from Chasm View are very
similar to those from the lower Saddle in the Tetons.
